Selecting antigenic proteins from fish pathogenic Streptococcus iniae by proteomic analysis

The 2-DE profiles of two S. iniae isolates displayed that most protein spots detected by silver staining were distributed in the pH range from 4 to 7. Protein spots with 4 times expression difference between highly and weakly virulent strains were then subjected to LC-MS/MS analysis for protein identification.
