This study solves the economic lot inspection and scheduling problem by using the fixed rate approach under the imperfect production system. The mathematical model uses the excess idle time of a production facility to reduce the production rate of a specific product in order to reduce the average total cost. This study uses the common cycle method and adopts a consensus inspection strategy to explore the optimal production cycle of this model and the optimal number of inspections for each product item, so as to minimize the total cost per unit time. At the same time, in order to consider the feasibility of production, the mathematical model has added three limiting formulas: production capacity, inspection capacity and inspection rate limit. In this study, the artificial fish swarm algorithm is used to solve the mathematical model of the above conditions, and a numerical experiment is used to illustrate the effectiveness of the proposed artificial fish swarm algorithm. The comparison with the results of applying the traditional approach and fixed rate approach shows that the fixed rate approach can effective reduce the total cost per unit time. |
