According to the agricultural census data, the average age of professional agricultural practitioners in Taiwan is as high as sixty-two. Although agricultural administration units have promoted several projects for young and middle-aged adults to return to the countryside if they cannot reduce labor intensity, improve working conditions, and promote the reconstruction of rural production and living environments, the effectiveness of implementation will be greatly reduced. Therefore, agricultural mechanization has always been one of the main axes of the government's policy. According to the survey results of Taiwan's agricultural machinery industry, Taiwan's agricultural machinery industry has the advantage in research and development of small-field working machines which also meets the needs of cultivated crop management. The main purpose of this research is to establish the key technologies of design and the R&D capabilities of various subsystems for an agriculture modular electric vehicle. The electric vehicle is composed of a modular body structure, a power system, a four-wheel independent steering system, and a control system. |
