Background: Being in a group enables people to see themselves, return to their subjectivity through corporal , and to emphasis more on the values and experiences of live. Objectives: This study take the corporal as the subjectivity as human beings to illustrates how an individual experience the "Self" process in a group. Methods: Using reflective analysis proposed by Embree to analzye the data. Data were collected from free-floating group discussions, reflective feedback sheet, and learning experiences diary. Results: The group analysis program delivers a Self process comprising three stages. The first stage is embeddedness, including echos of daily routine and, echos of unpredictable; the second stage is on escape, including wounds of life and wounds of healers; the last stage is transmutation, including realizing the essence of life and from consciousness to new practices. Conclusions: Individuals experience the changes of Self in the reflective group. These changes enable the self to reflect on routine daily life and practice, from corporal perception to reconstructing the inner mind and to care about others. Moreover, the changes have brought individuals and others to grow together within a group, showing the realization process of "prosopography". |
