Since 2004 Shaanxi Provincial Institute of archaeology has carried on excavating against this site, obtains the plentiful result. At this site, they discovered bronzes which has engraved inscription of “Rui (芮)”. It means the site is the cemetery of Rui state. This article uses the material which the archeological team published to carry on the inspection, and main conclusion as follow. First, Liangdaicun site locates in a very important traffic and strategic location from the northern china to central plain. Second, since this cemetery unearthed many bronze vessels which are very similar to those from the capitals of Western and Eastern Zhou dynasties, we could presume that Rui state actively taked part in the ritual system which is managed by Zhou Dynasties. |
