This article discusses the need for improvements in judicial interpretation training and potential applications of AI. In democratic countries' justice systems, foreign-background individuals have the right to interpretation services for unfamiliar languages to ensure fair trials. With increasing numbers of immigrants and foreign parties, it's crucial to reevaluate the public sector's regular interpreter courses. The researchers reviewed their experiences in prosecutorial judicial interpretation training as an instructor and collected views from practitioners. They suggest creating a more detailed training framework, including explaining civil and criminal law through relevant cases and utilizing AI for timely feedback and courtroom context simulation. These methods aim to enhance interpreters' professionalism, ensuring smooth judicial proceedings and promoting fairness in justice. |
