In June 2023, the first synchrotron treatment center in Taiwan has opened. The architectural design of synchrotron systems is complex, and there are few practical research cases. As a result of the research, large openings are avoided in the heat exchange chamber, and the openings of the pipes are all less than 200φ, which can keep the indoor ionizing radiation below the standard value when the accelerator is running. Negotiate with the manufacturer as early as possible to set the minimum height of the air conditioner FCU to avoid difficulties in maintenance and management. The recommended storage volume for RI Radiant Drain is 1 to 3 days. In terms of energy saving, the room temperature in the control area can be increased by 1-2°C, which is beneficial to energy saving. It is recommended to mark the system directly on the power distribution cabinet of the accelerator system to facilitate maintenance and management and reduce maintenance error rates.
