We shall start with a brief review of Cambodia’s early history. Next, we shall look into the Siamese invasion, and the Vietnamese annexation. And we shall scrutinize how she had survived under the French protection and during World War II. Moreover, we will manage to understand how the United States got involved and how the Khmer Rouge came to power. Finally, we shall explore the Vietnamese invasion and the final conclusion of the Paris Peace Agreements in 1991. |
