However, endoscope reprocessing still faces many challenges in clinical practice. This article refers to the latest guidelines from the Association for the Advancement of Medical Instrumentation (AAMI) and the Association of Operating Room Nurses (AORN), and discussions with experts and scholars across fields that review the current status of domestic endoscope reprocessing. It proposes improvement strategies for the gaps and challenges , to thoroughly implement endoscope reprocessing and promote comprehensive sterilization of endoscopes in the future.
