Reading Brings Happiness to Taiwan

「臺灣閱讀節」是專屬臺灣的閱讀節慶，引發全國響應的全民閱讀運動，豐沛的閱讀活力及積極創新的企圖心，榮獲美國圖書館協會頒發「2020國際圖書館創新服務獎」。2023年再度與國立中正紀念堂管理處合作辦理，與14個駐臺單位及來自各地圖書館、學校、出版社、博物館及民間團體等160個單位合作，推出逾260場閱讀活動。

The“Taiwan Reading Festival,”a nationwide reading event which has received a remarkably positive response from the public, was awarded the“Innovative International Library Projects Award”from the American Library Association in 2020, thereby earning international recognition for Taiwan’s enthusiasm for reading as well as innovation in its promotion. The 2023 rendition, which was once again coorganized with the National Chiang Kai-shek Memorial Hall, featured 160 participating institutions and organizations such as fourteen offices or missions of various nations stationed in Taiwan, libraries, schools and universities, publishers, museums, and other non-governmental organizations, all of whom combined to realize more than 260 reading activities.
