With the arrival of the super-aged society, non-communicable diseases have become a major threat to most elderly people. Community care centers play an important role in promoting aging in place for the elderly, especially through primary prevention of health education and secondary prevention of disease screening, which are important strategies for promoting elderly health and delaying disability. However, there is a shortage of medical professionals in the elderly community, which means that medical professionals cannot deeply cultivate the community. This is currently a problem. Therefore, this study developed an elder-friendly health assessment gamified chatbot (EHGC) to provide the elderly with a quick and real-time health screening tool and to provide personalized and continuous health education in a gamified and friendly manner. Through EHGC, community elders can obtain professional medical assistance more quickly and conveniently, which also provides a feasible solution to the problem of a shortage of medical professionals and the inability to deeply cultivate the elderly community. |
