We explore Venerable Master Hsing Yun's literatures,“Guanshiyin Bodhisattva”and“Fo Guang Shan - Great Compassion Hall”and take“Ying Hua Shi Ji”as the object of discussion, such as“Rescue Seven Difficulties, Eliminate Three Poisons, and Fulfill Two Demands”. We can understand Venerable Master Hsing Yun explained and promoted the“Guanshiyin Bodhisattva”from different perspectives in order to practice the concept of human Buddhism. Venerable Master Hsing Yun interpreted the life of Guanshiyin Bodhisattva in a simple way with simple language and words. Guanshiyin Bodhisattva is the master's abecedarian and mentor; and the master is the best spokesman for Guanshiyin Bodhisattva. In addition, the same discourse based on“Guanshiyin Bodhisattva”has also appeared in Dunhuang frescoes, Dunhuang manuscripts, and images and the good book on the outer wall of the Great Compassion Hall. They used images to show the“Ying Hua Shi Ji”of Guanshiyin Bodhisattva's salvation of suffering and the world. Among them, the outer wall of the Great Compassion Hall and the good book illustrate the incident with“Evidence”. Venerable Master Hsing Yun utilized a variety of interpretation methods to let everyone know Guanshiyin Bodhisattva and learn his compassion, wisdom, bravery and management. |
