英文摘要 |
The main purpose of this study is to investigate the organizational structure of an essay; that is, the arrangement of the content in an article. No definite rules are required for writing articles but article writing cannot do without rules. In a well-written article, the writing rules can be found in the development of thinking process. There are ways for dividing an article. For example, an article can be divided into two-part, three-part, four-part, five-part, six-part or eight-part. But the focus is on investigating the interrelationship between the three-part and the four-part. The selected articles mainly focus on prose. In the analysis of rhetorical patterns, the interrelationship among the paragraphs is emphasized. Several prose examples are given for learners to get themselves familiar with the structures and arrangement in the prose. The purpose is twofold: learners can appreciate the prose and create their own writing. |
