Poetry writing is an important part of literal education in the past, and the necessary capacity of ancient scholars. During the Japanese Occupation era, traditional Chinese poetry bloomed in Taiwan, and the record showed over 200 poetry clubs in Taiwan. Chinese poetry appeared to be a public activity at that time. During the Chinese poetry creation period across Japanese Occupation era and contemporary era, Su Hong-fei was a representative poet. His significance is first shown in the quality and quantity of works, followed by the types of his works that contributed considerably to reflect the social reality. This paper focuses on landscape, festival, and nostalgia poetry, and presents analysis on Su's poems to discuss his Chinese poetry creation. |
