In“What is Freedom?”, Hannah Arendt argues that what political freedom is concerned about is practical freedom, not metaphysical one; it should be“freedom inherent in action.” As people who are continuously engaging in political activities locally or globally, we understand how political freedom is the freedom to act and the freedom to defend. Although it is often neglected, the fact that it is neglected accounts toward that the political freedom as such, with which we have come to live and therefore of which we have become unaware, is the core of our political life. |
