The present synopsis is intended to serve as an introduction to the study of the flora of Taiwan. Systematic arrangements of the genera and families of lichens, bryophytes, pteridophytes and spermatophytes indigenous to Taiwan and its offshore islands are offered, with brief historical remarks and bibliographical survey for each plant group. |
