This paper is a continuation of the study of the Pteridophyta of Taiwan. References given at the end of the preceding paper are not repeated at the end of this section. An effort is being made to collect and grow all the species of Lycopodium from Taiwan in our shade house. Mr. M. T. Kao (高木村) and C. C. Chuang (莊清漳) together with others have enabled us to get living plants of all but a few of the rarer species. Miss Margaret Wei-Yu Chen (陳維宜) made a detailed study of all Taiwan species as her work for her undergraduate thesis in 1965. Miss Ann Kao (高安) now a senior in our Botany Department has made permanent slides of the cross sections of the stems of all available species. |
