This study begins by examining the United Nations' framework, objectives, conventions, databases, and other related materials concerning gender and culture. Relevant content related to gender and culture is extracted from these sources. Considering the significant influence of UNESCO (United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization) on international cultural development and its emphasis on gender indicators, the study further analyzes UNESCO's reports on gender cultural indicators. Additionally, the study analyzes discussions on gender cultural indicators by international organizations such as the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) and the European Union (EU). Finally, the research summarizes the approaches and focal points of international organizations regarding gender cultural indicators and proposes potential directions for Taiwan's development of gender equality indicators in the cultural field. |
