The Potential Association among Elementary School Teachers' Practical Intelligence, Yuarn-Feng Beliefs, In-Group Favoritism, Mental Health, and Job Performance in Taiwan
The main purpose of this study was to explore potential association among elementary school teachers’ practical intelligence, in-group favoritism, Yuarn-Feng beliefs, mental health, and job performance. The major instruments for this study were “Elementary School Teacher Practical Intelligence Scale”, “Elementary School Teacher Yuarn-Feng Beliefs Scale”, “Elementary School Teacher In-Group Favoritism Scale”, “Elementary School Teacher Mental Health Scale”, and “Elementary School Teacher Job Performance Scale”. Questionnaire survey was conducted with elementary school teachers from Taiwan area. The obtained data was analyzed by confirmatory factor analysis(CFA), and structural equation modeling (SEM). The results showed that there was significantly correlation among elementary school teachers’ practical intelligence, Yuarn-Feng beliefs, in-group favoritism, and mental health, job performance. Suggestions for future study were included in this study.
