The purpose of this study was to explore the attributions for success and failure on teaching of teachers at senior vocational schools. The samples were 1700 teachers, including 911 males and 789 females at senior vocational schools in Taiwan area. The Scale of Attribution for Success on Teaching (SAS) and the Scale of Attribution for Failure on Teaching (SAFT)were administered to obtain the data for analysis. The results showed that significantly different attributions for success and failure on teaching were found between teachers of public and private schools, among different areas, and among personal attributes. According to the results, suggestions for promoting education at senior vocational schools were provided for reference. |
