COVID-19 Home Quarantine Measures and Achievements

2019年12月中國湖北省武漢市爆發新型冠狀病毒肺炎（COVID-19）疫情，我國因地緣及兩岸交流互動頻繁，為阻絕病毒進入國境，首先採取邊境風險管理，於2020年1月26日起對湖北省入境旅客實行居家檢疫措施，且續依各國疫情風險逐步納入檢疫對象，自2020年3月19日起所有入境旅客均須完成14天居家檢疫，以監測其健康狀況，防範病毒進入社區造成傳播。

In December 2019, COVID-19 outbreak occurred in Wuhan, Hubei Province, China. Due to geographical proximity and frequent cross-strait interactions, Taiwan proactively implemented measures to prevent SARS-CoV-2 from entering the borders. Starting on January 26, 2020, home quarantine measures were introduced for inbound travelers from Hubei. Subsequently, quarantine measures were gradually extended to travelers from other countries based on their epidemic risks. From March 19, 2020, all incoming travelers were required to undergo a 14-day home quarantine to monitor their health and prevent SARS-CoV-2 from spreading into communities.
