The Blending of“Heart”and“Thing”: On Tea Writing in Xiao Xiao’s Prose

本文以蕭蕭茶文為研究範疇，試圖分析蕭蕭茶文的書寫特色，並提出蕭蕭透過茶事啟發之生命哲學與心靈境界。
前言提出蕭蕭寫作茶文的緣起與本文試圖解決的問題。第二節，蕭蕭茶文書寫的形成背景與作品。第三節，以我為情的觀世角度，自然意象表現手法，物與心相融與比德觀，說明茶文的書寫筆法與表現。第四節，因物體心的茶人精神，闡述茶的人情物相與茶對心的潤澤。試圖闡述蕭蕭茶文具有的知性與感性的雙重手法，以及透過茶的飲用、製作等，透過以心體物，心與物之間的關係等引起生命的哲思。
茶是心物相融的物質化，透過心的提升展現出更高的精神境界，本文從蕭蕭茶文中，釐清茶與自然的體證到茶與人心的潤澤，以及以茶為中心而展現的人情物相與茶人精神。

This paper takes Xiao Xiao’s tea essays as the research field, tries to analyze the writing characteristics of Xiao Xiao’s tea essays, and puts forward Xiao Xiao’s philosophy of life and spiritual realm inspired by tea affairs.
In the introduction, the origin of Xiao Xiao’s tea writing and the problems that this paper tries to solve are presented. The second section is about the background of Xiao Xiao’s tea writing and his works. In the third section, the worldview of“I am the emotion”, the expression of natural imagery, the integration of object and heart, and the concept of“Bide”are explained to illustrate the writing style and performance of tea writing. In the fourth section, the spirit of the tea people, which is to understand the heart through objects, elaborates on the humanistic and materialistic aspects of tea and the moisturizing effect of tea on the heart. Trying to illustrate the dual approach of intellectual and sensual in Xiao Xiao’s tea writing, as well as the philosophical thinking of life through the drinking and making of tea, through the relationship between mind and object, etc.
Tea is the materialization of the integration of mind and matter, and through the elevation of the heart, it reveals a higher spiritual realm. From Xiao Xiao’s tea essays, this article clarifies the empirical evidence of tea and nature to the lubrication of tea and the human heart, as well as the humanistic materialism and the spirit of the Tea People that are centered on tea.
