The study aims to construct the dimensions and indicators of elementary school principals’trust-based leadership and investigate their relationships of effects and weight system. It included three stages. In the first stage, the dimensions and indicators of elementary school principals’trust-based leadership were developed on the basis of literature review. Then, they were validated by 12 elementary school principals and experts; the preliminary results were verified by applying Fuzzy Delphi. In the second stage, 12 elementary school principals and experts were invited to fill out the expert questionnaire. By applying Decision Making Trial and Evaluation Laboratory (DEMATEL), Influential Network Relationship Map (INRM) of dimensions and indicators were constructed. In the third stage, by applying DEMATEL-based Analytic Network Process (DANP), the relationships of effects among dimensions and indicators and their weight system were established. The results are outlined as follows: (1) There are five dimensions and 20 indicators of elementary school principals’trust-based leadership; (2) The interdependent relationship and mutual effect exist among the five dimensions and 20 indicators; (3) The five dimensions in the order of importance are building relationships, influencing people, making decisions, managing meaning, and delivering results. |
