The purpose of this study is to examine the key factors of sustainable management in family businesses from the perspective of professional managers, and to establish a weighting system for the factors of sustainable management in family businesses. The study reviewed research on family businesses and initially constructed a 'Family Business Sustainability Factor Survey Questionnaire'. Subsequently, 15 professional managers were invited to evaluate the content of the indicators in order to establish the relative weights of the indicators at each level of the indicator system. The indicators for evaluating the sustainability of family businesses include four major dimensions: family business values, corporate governance, succession capability and family capital, covering 11 sub-indicators. The overall weightings are: Communication 1, Structural Capital 2, Management 3, Corporate Social Responsibility 4, Corporate Governance 5, Strengthening Board Structure and Operation 6, Social Capital 7, Enhancing Information Transparency 8, Human Capital 9, Business Competence 10 and Family Governance 11. Finally, the study proposes recommendations based on the findings of the study to provide reference for future research by managers and subsequent academics in the logistics-related industry. |
