The purposes of this study were to explore the integration process of the senior play therapist supervision. Through understanding his enthusiasm for play therapy, researcher intends to explore how and why he devoted himself to practice of play therapy. In order to provide novice play therapists a model to learn and to give the advices for play therapists/educators to improve their skills and knowledge, this study adopted the content analysis method in the qualitative approach. Besides, a semi-structured interview was conducted to collect data. The results of the study were as follows: 1. play therapists' ability of critical thinking for theories, 2. considerations for play therapists' attitude and using skills, 3. Assessments for therapeutic stages and environment, 4. training courses for play therapists, 5. the therapists' abilities to interact with children. Finally, the suggestions for play therapy practice and training are also provided. |
