Through in-depth interviews with the life experiences of three senior teacher educators, this research explores the considerations and influencing factors of their teacher career choices, and further understands their professional development methods, challenges and responses. The results of the research show that they have become teacher educators affected by personal and environmental factors, such as family background, self-interest, job opportunities, etc. Based on the love of education work, and the feedback and accomplishment given by education work, they continue to this career, and enjoy it. In the professional development of teachers, teaching professional development is their common concern, and lifelong learning is the core essence of their professional development. Teachers run through the career with the professionalism of education, and often maintain the advancing force of professional development through self-reflection. |
