亞洲．矽谷2.0，打造臺灣成為亞洲數位創新的關鍵力量

ASVDP 2.0: Making Taiwan a Key Innovator in Asia

為運用我國既有資通訊、半導體等硬體製造優勢，同時連結全球先進科技研發能量，促使國內硬實力跨入軟體應用，引領臺灣未來的新經濟發展模式，國發會、經濟部、科技部、交通部等各相關部會，自105年9月起共同推動「亞洲．矽谷推動方案」（以下簡稱亞洲．矽谷1.0），該方案以「推動物聯網發展」及「健全創新創業生態系」為2大主軸，期以物聯網促進產業轉型升級，以創新創業驅動經濟成長，進而協助臺灣搶進下世代數位創新商機，加速國內產業轉型升級。

To connect Taiwan with high-tech R&D communities worldwide and seize opportunities in next-generation industries, Taiwan government has implemented the Asia Silicon Valley Development Plan (ASVDP 1.0) since 2016. The Plan has two primary goals: firstly, promoting innovation and R&D for devices and applications of Internet of Things (IoT), and secondly, enhancing Taiwan's startup and entrepreneurship ecosystem. So far some solid results have been achieved. For example, the output value of Taiwan's Internet of Things (IoT) sector already exceeded NT$ 1 trillion in 2018 and is expected to reach NT$1.75 trillion in 2021. Furthermore, 156 companies have been invested under Business Angel Investment Program, and it has further driven investments up to NT$6.7 billion.
