行政院3月5日核定「金融服務業發展方向及計畫」，該計畫以推動金融服務業科技化、國際化、特色化為目標，並以八大策略具體落實政策目標，希望透過政府與業者共同努力，引領金融產業發展邁入黃金十年。

On March 5 the Executive Yuan approved the ''Direction and Program for Development of the Financial Services Industry'', a program designed to promote the technologization, internationalization, and featurization of Taiwan's financial services industry. The hope is that concerted efforts by government and industry will lead finance into a ''golden decade'' of development.
