為鼓勵產業創新研發，並符合產業需求，行政院日前通過《專利法》修正草案，新增多項規定以協助生物技術、綠色能源及精緻農業等產業發展；並參考國際規範，修正設計專利及強制授權等相關條文。立法通過後，將使我國專利制度產生重大變革。

The Executive Yuan recently approved a Patent Act revision designed to stimulate R&D and meet the needs of Taiwan's industries. The revision contains new provisions that will boost the development of the biotechnology, green energy, and high-end agriculture industries, and amends provisions regarding design patents and compulsory licensing to bring them in line with international norms. Once the bill is passed by the Legislative Yuan, it will bring major changes to Taiwan's patent system.
