因應企業併購需要，立法院於4月16日三讀經濟部所提「企業併購法」部分條文修正案，重點包括：
1.放寬公司發行新股收購範圍，由原僅限收購他公司股份，擴及可以收購分公司營業據點或財產。

On Apr. 16 the Legislative Yuan passed a partial revision of the Business Mergers & Acquisitions Law, as proposed by the Ministry of Economic Affairs (MOEA), containing the following major changes:
1. The scope of new share issuance for procurement, originally limited to the purchase of shares in other companies, is expanded to include the purchase of business locations and property of other companies.
