論臺閩語「一時」與「一時仔」的對比──兼論「一時仔」的可能發展

On the Comparison between‘一時’and‘一時仔’in TSM: Development of‘一時仔’

「一時」與「一時仔」皆是傳達「少量性時段」的時段時間詞，且都可分以副詞與名詞功能從時間角度修飾事件，惟與兩者相容的事件結構則異同互見。就副詞功能來看，「一時」與「一時仔」雖可分布於句首與動前位置，但「一時」傾向與帶有［＋靜態性，＋持續性，－終點性］特徵的事件結合，並於其中傳達「該事件在發生後仍持續處於某狀態」的靜態性概念；至於「一時仔」則慣與帶［－靜態性，－持續性，＋終點性］特徵的事件相容，且在其中傳達「該事件從A情況轉作B情況」的瞬成性概念。用作名詞時，「一時」與「一時仔」則分布於補語位置，並且都可與帶有［＋持續性］特徵的事件相容，惟「一時」傾向出現在書面語，「一時仔」則屬口語體。
此外，本文也從早期閩南語文獻考察得知，明清時期閩南語僅有「一時」，並且同時承擔修飾靜態與瞬成兩種事件結構的功能；爾後，在「成分象似」原則驅使下，於日治時期出現「一時仔」，經過一陣競爭後，於臺閩語中由包含小稱詞的「一時仔」修飾瞬成性事件，「一時」則留用於靜態性事件。

This paper aims to investigate the synonyms of time‘一時’and‘一時仔’in Taiwan Southern Min (TSM). Both‘一時’and‘一時仔’mean‘short time’, but‘一時’uses to occur in the situation with [＋stative,＋continuous,－telicity] and ‘一時仔’uses to occur in the situation with [－stative,－continuous,＋telicity] on the contrary. Although‘一時’and‘一時仔’shown in complement have [＋continuous],‘一時’tends to appear in written language and‘一時仔’in spoken language.
During MinQing dynasty, ‘一時’could modify two types of event structure including [＋stative,＋continuous,－telicity] and [－stative,－continuous,＋telicity]. In the light of isomorphism principle,‘一時仔’was created to share the responsibilities holding by‘一時’in Japanese ruled period. Since including the diminutive‘-仔’,‘一時仔’could take response of the event structure with [－stative,－continuous,＋telicity], and‘一時’still modify the envent structure with [＋stative,＋continuous,－telicity] in TSM.
