Nowadays, the number of women joining the military in various countries continues to increase. In order to ensure that both men and women can obtain multiple development opportunities in the military, how to maintain the balance between work and family is an important topic for discussion. The countries mainly discussed in this study are Japan, South Korea and Taiwan among the East Asian countries. It is mainly based on the fact that East Asian countries have similar social and cultural backgrounds and social change trajectories. Therefore, this article first sorts out the research perspectives on institutional change from the perspective of feminist institutionalism. Secondly, it discusses the establishment and evolution of work-family balance leave policies. Finally, from the perspective of institutional change and development, some suggestions are provided for Taiwan's future policy changes. |
