英文摘要 |
This part of the Notes on the T'en Language consists of seven texts with tentative English and Chinese translations. The texts are folk stories and descriptions of some aspects of the daily life of the T'en people. These texts are numbered and given brief titles as follows. The punctuation and paragraphing are my additions.
I. The story of the dragon pp. 1- 4
II. The story of the poor son-in-law pp. 4-16
III. The story of the bear pp. 16-17
IV. Hunting pp. 17-20
V. Distilling wine pp. 20-24
VI. A lawsuit pp. 24-25
VII. Work through the year in the farm pp, 25-45
These texts form the basic material from which the words have been abstracted to form a part of the glossary which will be published later. |
