With the development and popularization of science and technology, the public sector is now actively paying more attention to the combined application of art and technology that the new media art has emerged as a new field of contemporary art in Taiwan, where county and municipal governments are also engaging in new media art exhibitions. Due to government funding, it is quite easy to observe accumulated success in stages. However, in terms of new media art exhibition, how will government agencies allocate and fund with resources? What kind of environment will the government create for the current and future artists? These are the issues requiring further understanding and investigation. The research on the relationship between the public sector, curating units and exhibitors in the new media art exhibition by government is currently an important issue. In addition to the issues described above, this paper would propose specific strategies for the public sector in handling exhibitions and recommend on the difficulties encountered by curators and artists in practice, as a reference for future public sector research and bid design. |
