Nowadays, people will use the PM2.5 level of particulate matter in the weather forecast as a reference index for whether to go out and wear a mask. In this study, we use an IoT development board combined with a dust concentration sensor and a temperature/humidity sensor to build a air quality detection system. Beside, we develop an APP on the mobile device, so that users who are sensitive to air quality can check the air quality value (PM2.5) and temperature/humidity values of specific locations at anytime and anywhere. For people who pay attention to air quality, they can also know the air quality around them in real time in their lives. When they know that the air quality is poor, they should avoid engaging in outdoor activities, so that particulate matter will not have the opportunity to run into the body and affect their health. |
