This paper seeks to discuss the thesis of three different patterns of Asia’s circles of business and trade: 1. the historical development of the circle of Asia’s macro business and trade, 2. Asia’s circle from the angle of foreign trade and business, and 3. the Asia’s inner regional circle of business and trade. Due to the world economic crisis and bloc economy in the 1930s, based on observation and investigation of these three theses of the patterns of circles of Asia’s business and trade, this paper finds that the regional economy in Asia, in terms of productive resources, material market, commodity market, and the movement of humans and capital, experienced the trends of inner backwardness and localization. The conditions necessary for Asian regional economic integration or the process of uninterrupted expanded cooperation in Asia, in terms of international economics and international politics, were not present in the 1930s. |
