With the spread of COVID-19 and the pandemic, almost all of the countries have implemented lockdown policies. During COVID-19, in order to reduce the chance of the virus spreading, Taiwanese government has relaxed restrictions on telehealthcare during the pandemic, giving people an additional option for medical treatment. Therefore, this study will explore the factors that influence the behavioral intentions for using telehealthcare systems during the period of the COVID-19 pandemic. This study has taken UTAUT2 as the main framework, delete the unsuitable dimension, and adds new dimensions such as confidence, privacy concerns. And verify the effect of moderator variables such as experience and profession. Expect to find out what factors affect people use telehealthcare during the COVID-19 pandemic. We have collected 310 questionnaires from Instagram and Facebook, and the effective recovery rate is 97.2%. SPSS 24.0 is used for reliability and validity analysis, and SmartPLS 3.3.9 is used for SEM analysis. The results show that behavioral intention is significantly influenced by social influence, habit and confidence. Use behavior is significantly influenced by habit and behavioral intention. Taiwan had strict restrictions on telehealthcare, until the outbreak of COVID-19 that the related regulations are amended. Hope that more appropriate and comprehensive policies will be formulated, that people will no longer be unfamiliar with telehealthcare. This study will help the competent authorities to formulate the standard of medical treatment and the reference of health insurance payment in the future. |
