The Functional features of semantic images at Rubina’s novel “The white dove of Cordova”

本文研究季娜‧魯賓娜《科爾多瓦的白鴿》中形象用語之功能特點，探討明喻的結構類型與詞序變式的特點。作家運用精闢生動的形象用語，使文字充滿密度與彈性，展現非同尋常的藝術魅力，感染讀者。而脫離常規的逆反變異法，使讀者產生不同順位的聯想刺激，擴張了意象張力與表達闊度。同時，運用概念融合理論分析作家取用主客體之間的擇取角度與聯想軌跡，對於作家創作過程中思緒幽微轉折，以及所欲表達的文本蘊含與理解，提供另一面向的詮釋角度。

The features of description of semantic images, including the structures of simile and the wording sequence in sentences, at Rubina’s novel “The white dove of Cordova” was studied in this article. Writer used vivid and brilliant words, to enrich her writing and to generate an extraordinary artistic charm. Rubina’s reversed thinking in her diction stimulates the unusual association between her words and images produced in her readers’ mind, also created unique semantic images and expanded the flexibility of expression of her writing. Furthermore, by applying conceptual blending, Rubina’s points of view of choosing the subjects and objects of similes used in this novel were studied. The results provide an approach to the Rubina’s logic of creation process and undertones of semantic images in this novel.
