With the advancement of science and technology, sensing components are getting smaller and smaller, production costs are greatly reduced, and sensing technology is widely used in the sports industry. Sports sensors can collect various physiological data of athletes and monitor motion status, providing complete information for coaches to formulate and revise training plans according to the athletes' conditions. In recent years, tennis training has also used sports sensors to analyze and monitor the training status of players. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to explore the research overview of sports sensors in tennis training and to provide coaches and researchers with references in training planning or experimental design. In this study, we searched for relevant literature before December 2021 through electronic databases such as Web of Science, PubMed, Scopus and ScienceDirect, and 18 articles were included in the systematic literature review. It was found that the sports sensor was mainly used for motion analysis and measurement of training load. The application of motion analysis includes: determining the type of shot, the timing of the shot, the fluency, and the various batting data (sweet spot position, ball speed, spin rate, and swing speed). The monitoring of training load is divided into hitting load and physical training load. It is suggested that future research can carry out sensor fusion, while comparing internal and external loads and psychological factors, so that the athletic performance or training status of tennis players can be more accurately represented. |
