The 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) from the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development, adopted by the United Nations (UN) in 2015. One of these goals, SDG4 (Quality Education), will form the basis for the achievement of the other 16 goals. This paper examines the trends in educational research based on a literature review of sustainability literacy over the last three years (2020-2022). We focus on the definition of sustainability literacy, the latest trend of international sustainability literacy assessment (Sulitest), the current status of sustainability literacy education at the International Hospitality/Leisure Management Programs, and the observation on Green School in Taiwan's SDGs education. We also analyze some innovative examples of SDGs integrated into bilingual and issue-based teaching, proposes future teaching development opportunities, and suggests issues for the future development of SDGs research at the National Sports University School of Management. |
