This study tries to investigate and analyze Mr. Lee Teng-Hui’s learning mothed and process in Tamsui Middle School from the perspective of Zimmerman’s self-regulated learning model. The research method is textual analysis. The texts, articles and books, “An interview with President Lee Teng-Hui (I)- Early life,” “With the People Always in My Hear,” “With the People Always in My Heart (New),” “The Young Lee Teng-Hui,” and other secondary research articles about Lee Teng-Hui, are under closed analyzed and examined. There are two research findings. Firstly, when Mr. Lee Teng-Hui studied in Middle School, he not only had already had a basic self-regulated learning prototype, but also had a good reading habit. This helped him a lot to develop and deliver his self-regulated learning practice. Therefore, he attained excellent academic achievement. Secondly, the learning motivation, learning strategy and metacognition that Mr. Lee Teng-Hui applied during learning was indeed corresponded with Zimmeran’s self-regulated learning model. |
