The act of inheritance is an important element to develop sense of identification with Chinese education. It also serves as a historical consensus of the Chinese community for the survival of Chinese education and a long-term cultural project that needs to be further developed. Yeoh Tiong Lay, a Confucian entrepreneur of Hokkienese origin and a man with strong sense of inheritance who made good use of his vision as an international entrepreneur and a prospectoriented Chinese education developer, demonstrated his very unique characteristics while actively promoting the educational heritage. He was not only successful in establishing a clear and distinctive style, but also creating an outstanding inheritance model of his style. In this regard, the significance of his persistant and dedicated spirit shown in the development of Chinese education was highlighted. |
