紙製材料應用於高齡者玩具初探──以四種玩具為例

Initial research on the feasibility of cardboard as an elderly toys manufacturing material- Take four kinds of cardboard toys as an example

本文以紙製材料應用於高齡玩具為題，就「社會需求面」、「技術面」、「經濟面」等面向初步探討其可行性，本研究經高齡者活動場域實驗及紙品業者訪談，瞭解紙材作為高齡玩具之可行性，發現如下︰
a､以紙板設計製作之高齡玩具，經實測發現與專家推薦之木製高齡玩具，具備相同遊戲功能與滿足高齡者生理及心智需求的意義。
b､紙材輕巧、安全、適合印刷等物理特性，可作為發展高齡玩具之優勢。
c､紙製高齡玩具在「社會需求面」與「技術面」經評估可行，「經濟面」則預估目前市場不大，須有行銷策略與市場開發行動，市場規模方可預期。
d､紙品業者以紙製玩具投入高齡市場對企業形象或品牌會有幫助。

This article aims to explore the feasibility of making cardboard toys for the elderly. The study’s conclusion is as follows:
a. The four cardboard toys with the same function and form as the wooden toy have the same function and meaning as the four wooden toys.
b. The physical features of cardboard should be the key reason for making toys for the elderly.
c. Cardboard toy for the elderly is feasible in the society demanding aspect so is the aspect of design and production technology. However, from the economic aspect, the market is estimated to be small. If there are agood marketing strategy and promotion, the market can expect.
d. It can be helpful to corporate image or brand impression.
