五專校長領導方式與教師工作滿意關係之研究

由許多的實證研究得知：工作滿意和離職及曠職的關係為負相關（註一）。也就是說，工作不滿意的程度愈高，離職率及曠職率亦隨之增加。就學校而言，如學校校長僅強調機構的效能與組織的目標，而忽略了成員的動機、價值與需要，則終將無法結合成員的意志，難以集中其力量，組織的效能雖一時或可提高，然終必無法長期保持。另據葛林伍及沙爾（C. E. Greenwood & R.S. Soar）的研究顯示，對教學工作感到滿意的教師，除較能接受學生外，亦較會提供學生更多的發言機會（註二）。由上可知，教師之工作態度是否積極、工作是否滿意，對學校組織之運作以及個人生活的品質，均極重要。

The major purposes of this study are：（1）to survey the differences of teachers’ job satisfaction under the principals’ leadership styles in five─year junior colleges，（2）to find the correlations between them， and（3）to make some suggestions for improving the five─year junior college education based on the findings of this study.
