This study was aims at testing the structural model of wild campers' leisure motivation, leisure involvement, leisure benefits and behavioral intentions. A questionnaire survey combined with purposive sampling method was conducted among the participants in the 22^(nd) National Xixian Canyoning and Camping Jamboree from September 23 to 24, 2017, and the valid samples of questionnaires reached 220 in total. According to the results of the analyses via AMOS 6.0, the findings are summarized as follows: wild campers' leisure motivation had significant and direct influence on leisure benefits and indirect influence on behavioral intentions; leisure involvement had significant and direct influence on leisure benefits and indirect influence on behavioral intentions; leisure benefits had significant and direct influence on behavioral intentions. The related industries are suggested to introduce suite of camping gear for entry-level campers and promote responsible tourism behavior in order that goals for sustainable development can be achieved. |
