This paper discusses the language viewpoints and the literary style of ChungChao-cheng's 'Furious Waves'. First, I discuss the linguistic identity of ChungChao-cheng, that is, Chung Chao-cheng thinks that his own language is Hakka.Second, by the linguistic identity, I classify the characters in 'Furious Waves' intoseveral groups, and discuss the interaction between different groups. Third, throughthe end of 'Furious Waves', I further interpret the storyline of 'Furious Waves'.Lastly, I discuss that content and language can be separated for Chung Chao-cheng.Therefore, even the innovative ideal is introduced into Taiwan in Japanese, Taiwanintellectuals can stick to the ideal after the decline of Japanese in Taiwan. |
