文化與語言之間的關係極為密切，語言是文化的載體，文化具有促進語言發展的作用，而宗教又是文化不可或缺的一部分。越南佛教熟語大部分源於漢傳佛教經典，但在摘錄的過程中越南民族則以越南人思維、文化為中心對漢傳佛教熟語進行越化改編。而從文化角度來看，越南佛教熟語所傳達的思想具有儒家色彩，且與越南民族思維方式密不可分。

The relationship between culture and language is extremely close. Language is the carrier of culture. Culture has the function of promoting the development of language, and religion is an indispensable part of culture. Most of the Vietnamese Buddhist idioms originated from the Han dynasty Buddhist classics. However, in the process of excerpts, the Vietnamese nationality adapted the Han Buddhist idioms with Vietnamese thinking and culture as the center. From a cultural point of view, the ideas conveyed by Vietnamese Buddhist idioms are Confucian and inseparable from the Vietnamese way of thinking.
