Lu Xun’s The True Story of Ah Q was translated into Thai in 1952 and became the first Thai translation of Lu Xun’s works. In the 1970s and 1980s, there was a climax of translating and introducing Lu Xun’s works in Thailand, which was in sharp contrast to the blank of the dissemination of Lu Xun’s works in Thailand in the 1960s and 1990s. This article will sort out the spread process of Lu Xun’s works in Thailand, analyze the reasons why Lu Xun’s works experienced a huge spread gap, as well as the current factors restricting the spread of Lu Xun’s works and its future development. |
