韓儒李柬與韓元震的「未發心體有無善惡」之辯

Yi Gan and Han Won-jin's Debate on＂Whether Good or Evil Could Be Predicated of the Original State of Mind before Issuance＂

過去學界對於十八世紀韓儒李柬與韓元震的「未發氣質之性有無」之辯的研究，僅將這個論題等同於李柬對此論題的解讀：「未發心體善惡有無」之辯，然而這個看法韓元震本人是不認同的。本文回到韓元震與李柬的原始辯論的脈絡，指出李柬為何認為韓元震「未發時有氣質之性」的主張意謂「未發時心體有善惡」，以及韓元震為何最終還是認為此論辯是「未發氣質之性有無」之辯。本文以「善的異質性」概念，對他們二人在這個問題上的爭議，作出了清晰的分判。

Concerning the debate on ＂whether there is physical nature before issuance,＂ launched by two Korean Confucian scholars-Yi Gan and Han Won-jin-in the eighteenth-century, most scholarship adheres to Yi's interpretation, i.e. regarding this thesis identical with ＂whether good or evil could be predicated of the original state of mind before issuance (weifa xinti 未發心體).＂ However, Yi's interpretation was criticized by Han. To retrieve the reason why Li deemed these two theses as identical, and why Han adhered to the original thesis, this paper reexamines the context of their debate. Via the concept of ＂heterogeneity of good,＂ this paper makes Yi's and Han's views clear and distinct.
