According to a survey conducted by the Institute for Information Technology, Taiwan's overall new industries have grown year by year, which shows that new industries are accepted by the young people increasingly. However, in the early stage of a start-up company, there is a high turnover rate of employees in the start-up company because of the low staffing level and the need for members to hold multiple positions. Therefore, it is necessary to study the employee retention desire of start-up companies. In this study, 146 valid samples were collected from employees of start-up companies founded in the past five years by means of a questionnaire. The results of this study show: (1) Work values and job pleasure have a positive and significant impact on job involvement; (2) Job involvement has a positive and significant influence on the intention to Stay; (3) Job Insecurity did not directly affect job involvement. Finally, the results of this study should serve as a reference for managers and human resources departments in the new venture industry when formulating strategies. |
